Review: IMDb has rated this film a 8.1/10. Sigmund said," The movie has the realistic appearance of a chronicle. And there are tons of intellectual honesty, too. I mean that there are no white vs. black hats. You can see terrorists troubled as they are about to leave a bomb in a cafe"(1999). Personally, I agree with him because I also believe this film was very realistic. It was not a hollywood film but it was still very entertaining to watch. That the film began with the French torturing the Algerian which is very impactful. It broke my heart to see this indvidual in such a poor condition and not being able to do much. Then, we have the Algerians who are disguised as French people and are bombing locals; where there are people of all ages who are innocent. A film that shows the reality of what war is and it's not really trying to make the audience choose a side.
